IMLS Now Accepting Museum Grant Applications for FY 2017
Four Grant Programs Share December 1 Deadline
Washington, DC—The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) is now accepting applications for four museum grant programs. The application deadline for each of these programs is December 1, 2016.
Notable changes in FY 2017 include increases in award amount limits for Museums for America and National Leadership Grants programs. Museums for America applicants may request awards of up to $500,000, an increase of $350,000 from last year, and National Leadership Grant applicants may request research and non-research awards of up to $1,000,000, an increase of $500,000 from last year. The Museums for America and National Leadership Grants program guidelines also include information about activities of special interest to IMLS for FY 2017.
