Galena & US Grant Museum

The Galena Historical Society Museum will address threats to its collection of natural history, Ulysses S. Grant, and Native American artifacts. The collection, which contains over 15,000 objects, relates to the historical development of America’s heartland and includes both organic and inorganic items with particular environmental sensitivities. To improve collections care, the museum will install climate control and fire suppression systems in the Stillman Mansion.
