Museum of Glass

The Museum of Glass will ensure long-term care and public access to born-digital and digitized collections related to the history of glass as a contemporary art medium. The museum will hire a digital archivist who will work with a curatorial assistant to digitize a portion of the museum’s collection, including photographs and video footage of glass artists. Project staff will create institutional digital preservation plans and implement a new digital asset management system. Project staff will make digitized collections accessible online for the benefit of historians, art educators, and glass artists.
