Log Number: ST-256888-OMS-24
The Oklahoma City National Memorial Foundation will digitize approximately 2,000 videotapes from the Wayne Wicks, Sr. Collection; the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office Collection; and the KWTV Collection. These archival collections document the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Building, the largest domestic terrorist attack on U.S. soil. A contract vendor will digitize the at-risk collection of VHS, Betacam SP, and U-Matic tapes to mitigate risks and prolong the useful life of objects. Project staff will maintain project metadata and update catalog records with associated digitized material as well as preserve collections in cold storage.
