Woodmere Art Museum

The Woodmere Art Museum will carry out a project to stabilize and conserve significant works in their collection by Philadelphia artists. The Woodmere’s collection, ranging from the 18th century to the present, is dedicated to telling the story of Philadelphia's art and artists from generation to generation. The project will establish and configure new storage spaces to relieve collection overcrowding as well as implement updated art storage practices. Staff will update the cataloguing system and move, catalogue, and digitize works in the collection. As a result of the project, works by Philadelphia artists will be more available for use in exhibitions as well as for public research purposes.
