Society of American Archivists

The Society of American Archivists (SAA) will convene a forum to develop a strategic research agenda for the archival profession to enhance the profession's capacity to serve its audiences, demonstrate societal value, and expand professional knowledge. The forum will bring together archivists and other stakeholders over the course of two days to transform the SAA Research and Innovation Roadmap into a comprehensive and actionable research agenda. Activities will include facilitated discussions, feedback collection, and dissemination of the agenda. Deliverables will include a published prioritized research agenda, a communications and outreach plan, and a framework for agenda maintenance and future updates. Beneficiaries include archivists, grant funders, and leaders of standard-setting organizations.
