Ka Ipu Makani Cultural Heritage Center

The Ka Ipu Makani Cultural Heritage Center (KIM) will create a searchable web database via the Moloka’i Community Repository project to house archival collections including 20,000 records that celebrate Molokaʻi’s unique cultural history. The project will assist in the long-term preservation of these resources while making them accessible to the public in a digital format. KIM will host three public community presentations to showcase the newly established repository as well as to teach community members how to use and navigate the website. This project will benefit the Moloka’i community.
