Stockbridge-Munsee Community

The Stockbridge-Munsee Community's Help Save Our Languages project involves tribal members in preserving languuge and culture and developing the capacity needed to meet changing learning and information needs. The project is designed to strengthen library services by diversifying learning opportunities for library visitors, as well as helping the library sustain and build a language and culture program for the broader community. Activities include development of an online talking dictionary of the Mohican language and the creation of recorded language sessions.
