Chilkat Indian Village

The purpose of the Chilkat Indian Village's Xux' Daaka Hidi: Chilkat Stories: Our Village, Our Lives project is to document, preserve, and share elders' stories as well as the stories of other tribal members; increase knowledge about and interest in Chilkat heritage; and help meet the mission of the Tribe, school, and library. Project activities include storytelling events during Culture Day celebrations, posting interviews online, and making the interviews available at the library.
