Hydaburg Cooperative Association

The Hydaburg Cooperative Association's enhancement project is focused on creating a place for cultural and lanauge learning that will strengthen the fabric of the community and encourage Haida families to move back to the village. The project builds on prior IMLS-funded work to build capacity of the residents of Hydaburg by having a more accessible library space and increased access to print and electronic resources that help preserve and revitalize Haida language and culture. The association will create a new space, hire and train a librarian, as well as continue to build the collection and offer educational programs.
