Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe

The Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe will begin the transformation of its tribal library into a 21st Century facility by establishing it as an active partner and valuable resource in program delivery for the tribe. With professionally-trained staff, it will reach out to provide additional programming and resources to the broader community. The library will generate cultural and educational tools using both the in-house collections as well as the new "House of Seven Generations" online archive. Staff will provide materials to homebound elders, conduct reading/literacy programs with children and youth, enhance language-learning services and resources, and collaborate with other tribal program staff to develop activities for the benefit of tribal citizens and the public.
