Arctic Slope Regional Corporation

The objectives for this project are to scan on to microfilm and digitize primary source material from the Dr. Rosita Worl collection and other documents from the 1960s and 1970s that are pertinent to the establishment of the North Slope Borough and to the Iñupiat culture and language. A full-text index will be generated and mounted on the Internet with links to the scanned images in PDF format. The project will enhance local skills in advanced archival techniques in the environment of a small, remote library by maintaining nationally recognized standards for access to digital collections.
