The Charles “Topsy” Johnson Tribal Library & Archive of the Organized Village of Kake in Kake, Alaska will provide part-time access to the Charles “Topsy” Johnson Tribal Library and Archive on a weekly basis for the community and remote patrons/scholars. The library will expand the existing library holdings by purchasing new and used books that focus on Tlingit language, culture, art, and history. The library will offer travel to the International Conference of Indigenous Archives, Libraries, and Museums for networking and research into strengthening services by its staff. The library will continue offering library services and access to cultural materials and to strengthen services through continued professional development.
