Hannahville Indian Community

Hannahville Indian Community will support existing library operations, expand access to collections, and support professional development for staff. The library will replace, repair, and purchase new materials to ensure collections are available for users of all ages including purchasing guided reading-level books to support family involvement in children’s education. Additionally, the library will encourage use of its digital collections by providing additional training to students and families and increasing digital technology lending. The Director will also participate in the Library of Michigan’s Staff Certification Program to connect with other rural libraries in Michigan around implementing digital outreach programming. Project activities will promote reading among youth, teens, and families and continue services for users of all ages.
