Museum of African American History

The Museum of African American History will design and implement experiential tours and programs for schools, families and adults in Boston and on the island of Nantucket. For the project, the institution will hire one full-time outreach position and three full-time education positions. Staff will develop and implement a school field trip program, create interpretive materials for museum exhibits, and conduct programs at each of the museum’s four historic sites. As a result of the project, staff will produce a communication plan, curriculum materials, program models, and interpretive plans and devices for adult and family programs.
