Log Number: MH-249615-OMS-21
The National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center (NAAMCC), a division of The Ohio History Connection (OHC) will undertake a planning process to align with the recently updated OHC strategic plan. A consultant will facilitate the strategic planning process and work in partnership with the NAAMCC, OHC, staff members, and stakeholders to develop a plan for the museum as it shifts from a national view to becoming a museum of Ohio African American history and culture that has significance to the nation and beyond. Project activities include a review of OHC/NAAMCC organizational history and an overall assessment through a gap analysis, benchmarking alignment with the OHC strategic plan, interviews, surveys and focus group polling to receive partner and community input. The strategic planning process will provide NAAMCC and OHC with the tools to allow both organizations to integrate their plans into actionable policies to implement its vision.
