Emmett Till Memorial Commission of Tallahatchie County

The Emmett Till Interpretive Center will hire a project coordinator to oversee the expansion of the Emmett Till Fellowship program. The center will recruit five high school and college students to assist in preparation for a film workshop that will lead to the creation of three new films that highlight the legacy of Emmett Till and the civil rights movement. Over a two-year period, the fellows will be trained to be professional museum docents and will lead tours and facilitate additional hands-on activities at the museum. The project will provide training for the institution's staff, fellows, and volunteers on film production as it relates to museums.
