Museo de las Americas

Museo de las Americas will enhance its creative workshop programming through evaluation and co-created curriculum. The museum will contract with an educational consulting firm to evaluate the current workshop curriculum, staff capacity, and participant expectations and needs, and to provide staff coaching and professional development. The project funds will support the development of new curriculum designed to amplify the history, art, and culture of Latin American people. The newly designed materials will be co-developed by education staff, workshop instructors, and youth participants. The project will result in a better understanding of the community’s growing needs and programming that is more responsive, agile, and relevant, benefiting the museum’s education team leaders, workshop instructors, and youth and adult workshop participants.
