MASS MoCA

MASS MoCA will implement a digital technology professional development project to address the need for staff training to strengthen museum operations and organizational culture, areas identified in a recent museum digital infrastructure and capabilities assessment. Project activities include assembling a tech task force to purchase new equipment and infrastructure upgrades, establishing common practices and systematizing technology procedures, and engaging a technology consultant to conduct tailored staff training workshops. The project will result in greater staff understanding of digital technology and systems in departments across the museum including Design and Communications, Advancement, Finance, Information Technology, Visitor Experience, and Retail, developing new skills throughout the museum, building staff confidence and morale.
