Missouri Historical Society

The Missouri Historical Society will create training and learning opportunities that increase the cultural competence of museum staff and enhance the relevancy of museum programs through inclusive community outreach. Project activities include conducting cultural competence staff training, hosting community forums, developing a resource library for museum staff to build their knowledge, and conducting an internal equity assessment. Through this project, museum staff will increase their individual capacity to advance equity and learn how to apply an equity lens to enhance their work in community engagement.
