National Museum of Women in the Arts

The National Museum of Women in the Arts will undertake comprehensive training for its board and staff to examine issues of diversity, equity, access, and inclusion (DEAI) within the museum. Facilitated by an outside consultant, the museum’s board and staff will participate in a series of workshops and coaching sessions, with the broader goal of implementing deeper change within the organization. The project will involve the examination of current operations, programming, processes, and relationships to develop and implement a sustainable, long-term DEAI strategy and drive a shift in the organizational culture. By increasing staff and leadership’s capacity to address DEAI issues, the project activities ultimately will lead to the development of exhibitions and educational programming that is more relevant to museum’s community.
