Mingei International Museum

Mingei International Museum will build the capacity of its staff to understand and optimize the use of digital technology in order to more effectively share its content assets with a broader audience. The Digital Transformation Project will build staff capacity internally, followed by the development of structures and systems to effectively deploy digital tools and content. Staff capacity will be improved through formal and informal training, skills development, and the creation of new workflow efficiencies. The museum will create and adopt processes and guidelines for exhibition and collection documentation, object digitization, and shared content; strengthen technology infrastructure to support institutional priorities for managing content; and create an internal content pipeline to share rich, diverse content and media, presented across a variety of digital platforms in order to grow audiences and engagement.
