Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum

The Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum will improve the physical and intellectual control of over 3,000 objects in its collections to more effectively manage the collection and use it for exhibits, programs, and research. The museum will hire a part-time collections technician to work with the assistant director/chief curator to implement project activities which will include assessing current conditions of collections items, identifying items in need of conservation, entering data in the collections database, and producing relevant paper record files. The project team will rehouse materials in archival quality containers and place all artifacts in their new locations in the museum's storage area designated for small artifacts.
