Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago

The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago will implement an initiative to improve support for Spanish-speaking visitors. Museum staff will receive Spanish language education and utilize translation resources to produce bilingual materials, outreach, wayfinding signage, and programming for exhibitions, events, and performances in Spanish and English. Staff will also use bilingual software to improve the museum’s Spanish-language website. To measure project progress and impact, staff will work with external, contracted evaluators to produce evaluation studies. As a result of the project, the museum will reach a wider audience of both English and Spanish speakers.
