Utah Museum of Contemporary Art

The Utah Museum of Contemporary Art will implement the UMOCA Art Truck program, a traveling art exhibit that showcases local and national artists at schools and events across Utah free of charge. Project activities include fabricating the new traveling tuck exhibit, working with local educators and artists to develop cross-curricular lesson plans, and bringing the UMOCA Art Truck program to schools. Project funds will support upgrades to the Art Truck fleet, program supplies, travel to the host schools, and staff time. The project will allow the museum to bring art to schools across Utah and increase creative thinking skills and empathy-building skills while providing program participants with cultural and hands-on learning experiences.
