Fine Arts Work Center

The Fine Arts Work Center will expand its summer visual arts and creative writing program to include an additional 270 participants, reaching wider audiences by reducing barriers to participation. Project activities include conducting outreach to raise awareness of the program, developing new community partnerships to reach wider audiences, conducting staff professional development to increase capacity to implement this expanded program, coordinating the summer program, and conducting a program evaluation. Project funds will support participant housing, travel, and program costs. The project will result in increased participation by more young artists and writers while building institutional capacity to implement programs and create a nurturing community.
