Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio

The Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio will expand the Teaching by Design teacher professional development program to include artist-in-residence classes with visiting architects, designers, visual artists, musicians, and naturalists. Project activities include conducting 12 professional development seminars, recruiting guest educators and four resident artists, and developing, implementing, and evaluating the artist-in-residence program. The project will address the identified need for increased arts access in underserved schools and for local professional development opportunities in arts integration. Teacher participants will demonstrate increased confidence, motivation, and use of design-based inquiry in their teaching.
