Paine Art Center and Gardens

The Paine Art Center and Gardens will use funds to create a historic preservation plan to help sustain the long-term care of the historic estate’s architecture and collections. Informed by a previous Museum Assessment Program (MAP) report that recommended prioritizing the need for preservation and maintenance plans, the organization will work with an historic preservation architect and a historic restoration firm to assist in the development of the historic preservation plan and a cyclical maintenance schedule. As a result of the project, the new preservation plan will guide the curatorial and facilities staff in planning for future preservation and maintenance activities of the estate’s architecture and collections.
