Ford's Theatre

Ford's Theatre will expand its educational reach by developing and expanding a suite of programs including a new teacher professional development opportunity; expanded educational public programs; and new digital resources and tools for learners of all ages. Project activities include developing and implementing a new summer teacher institute rooted in place-based learning, updating educational content and creating new online learning resources, and expanding the Cabinet Conversations on Creativity, History, and Leadership program to transform the program from being purely virtual to a new hybrid model that offers opportunities for both in-person and virtual engagement. Through this project, Ford's Theater Society will engage audiences in informed civic democracy helping participants develop critical thinking and media literacy skills while deepening their appreciation for the power of place and a sense of community engagement and belonging.
