Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston

The Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) will expand its engagement with teens through a series of new out-of-school programs and a pilot creative leadership program. Programming will include new media courses, including advanced music production and photography offerings, and Fast Forward, a school-year-long film program. A Teen Arts Council will engage teens with art, contemporary issues, and their communities. In addition, the museum plans to launch an initiative through which teens at partner public schools in Boston earn school credit for participation in ICA programs. Finally, they will pilot a creative leadership program focused on exhibition-making and production.
