Illinois State Museum

The Illinois State Museum will transform its educational programs to deliver high-caliber, online learning experiences for Pre–K through grade 12 students. They will develop online curricula and related resources and materials for educators to use in classrooms and after-school programs. A Teacher Advisory Group will guide content development, informed by results of a survey conducted with educators on virtual learning. The museum also plans to produce digital resources—including videos—and test learning materials with teachers across the state. Finally, they will create professional development opportunities to support teachers in conducting the online programs.
