American Museum of the Moving Image

The Museum of the Moving Image will improve collections management and access to their permanent collection. The museum maintains a large and comprehensive collection of artifacts relating to the art, history, and technology of the moving image, comprising approximately 130,000 objects from motion pictures, television, and digital media. The project will upgrade the museum's collections management system, develop and implement a new public collections browser, and create 865 additional public-facing catalog records that will facilitate digital access to a broader range of their holdings. Upgraded digital access of its collection will extend the museum's reach to audiences around the country and the world.
