Denver Art Museum

The Denver Art Museum will strengthen its Early Childhood (EC) Art and Creativity programs onsite and in the community. They will start by establishing an Early Childhood Participant Action Group that is composed of various EC stakeholders. The Action Group will support the co-creation of new EC programmatic elements of the museum’s Art Lives Here/El arte vive aquí—an in-community mini-exhibition program that lives in schools and community centers for a month and incorporates tailored programming to support cross-curriculum learning. A new onsite EC Innovative Teaching Incubator and Learning Lab will support professional development for EC stakeholders and direct programming for early learners in a dedicated early childhood classroom.
