High Museum of Art
Log Number: MA-249377-OMS-21
The High Museum of Art plans to build foundational support for their Creative Aging and Lifelong Learning initiative. With the expected number of Metro Atlanta residents age 60 and above expected to grow to 1.2 million by 2030, the museum seeks to become a community anchor and catalyst for older Atlantans to experience a more fulfilling aging process—one defined by creativity, social connection, and continued growth. The project will help the museum to serve as a hub for cross-sectoral conversations on arts and aging. Working with key community partners, the museum will build on their foundational research and development efforts to pilot new programs, build institutional capacity, further their audience research, and spearhead the formation of a professional network of arts and health professionals to advance this work locally and nationally.
