Museum of Fine Arts, Houston

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, in cooperation with area school districts and community partners, will develop an integrated set of virtual and in-person learning activities that address academics, social learning, cultural inclusion, and professional training. The project team will develop virtual school tours, instructional art-making videos, and training materials for educators, as well as create online learning activities and materials for students and their families. Through online trainings and multilingual materials, families will gain a better understanding of K–12 classroom expectations. Additionally, the project team will redesign the traditional docent-student tour delivery system and produce best practices for inclusive school-family-community partnership, guided by culturally responsive teaching practices.
