Pretend City Children's Museum

The Pretend City Children’s Museum will expand its Discovering and Developing Diversity Program by forming an interdisciplinary Anti-bias Advisory Council, providing intensive staff training on anti-bias practices, and expanding community cultural partnerships. Additionally, community subject matter experts will create performances, displays, and celebrations; and the museum will create an artist-in-residence program to showcase diversity in expression and tools used across various cultures. To further educate and welcome children and visitors of various backgrounds through storytelling programming, the museum’s library will purchase thematic books about identities, culture, communication, and diverse issues in the home.
