Boise Art Museum

The Boise Art Museum will increase their storage furniture and reorganize their permanent collection in secure storage. The museum's permanent collection has grown significantly to more than 4,000 works, filling existing racks, shelves, and files. To maximize vertical storage space in the environmentally controlled art storage vault, the museum will purchase and install a system of museum-quality compact vertical art storage screens for 2-D framed artworks, as well as two storage racks for works in cardboard slipcases. This project will improve and increase collection storage within the existing building, increase the efficiencies of museum staff, minimize unnecessary handling and movement of artwork, and result in safer storage conditions over the long term.
