Westcott House

Westcott House Foundation will facilitate a series of arts programs and events that will celebrate, amplify, and contribute to the revitalization efforts in downtown Springfield, Ohio. Project activities will include artist residencies, community planning sessions, a strategic plan for the public art program, three new works of public art, ArtSoFo (a fine arts fair), and the launch of a light-based art festival. All works of art created for this project will be informed by the city's rich history and will celebrate the architectural legacy that has been saved through community leaders' recent efforts. Project partners include the City of Springfield, Project Jericho, Greater Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau, and SpringForward-a consortium of local government, foundations, and corporations created to revitalize Springfield's urban core.
