Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will further develop its collections management system as part of a new technology stack with cloud storage, a digital asset management system, and an online public discovery interface. This project is an outgrowth of the museum's 2014 strategic plan, which had a goal to "cultivate a culture that inspires innovation, takes risks, and leverages technology." It radically alters the potential impact of the institution and its subject matter, opening the museum's storage vaults to the world. The most frequently received feedback to date from users of the museum's library and archives has been about the lack of online accessibility to digital assets and no access to artifacts beyond exhibition. With this project, the museum's collections will be accessible to fans around the world.
