Habitot Children's Museum

The Habitot children's Museum will update and enhance its flagship "Waterworks" exhibit to add accessibility for special needs children and better engage adults in children's learning using 21st century tools. "Waterworks 2.0" will introduce QR codes to capitalize on adults' frequent use of smartphones in the museum; offer high-quality science, math, and literacy experiences for young children; and link adults to short videos that model age-appropriate inquiry learning, scaffolding, and other ideas for helping children make their own discoveries about the properties and behavior of water. The project will invest in the museum's oldest and most beloved exhibit and expand the museum's ability to serve its audience effectively.
