Denver Museum of Nature and Science

The Denver Museum of Nature and Science’s project entitled “Science Center for Early Learners” is a critical component of the museum’s broader “Youth and Teacher Initiative.” The museum will increase its capacity to introduce the important foundations of science and improve young learners’ skills. The project will develop new early childhood education programming, implement a Simply Science Early Childhood Educator Teacher Institute to train local teachers, and inform the design of the new Discovery Zone and Early Science Education Studio in the Science Education Center. As a result, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science will provide multiple-experience informal science education opportunities for children, their teachers, and their families.
