The Utah State Library will use funds to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2023-2027, which reflect the purposes and priorities of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). In Utah, specific goals include: 1) Ensure equitable access to quality information resources - including those Utahns need to succeed at school, at work, and in their daily lives; 2) Support excellence in library operations and services - enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Utah State Library and all other libraries in the state to benefit all residents; 3) Promote and support lifelong learning - programs and resources that improve digital literacy and enhance 21st century skills and workforce development; and 4) Strengthen community engagement and build thriving communities - foster connection, collaboration and cooperation.
