Mississippi Library Commission

The Mississippi Library Commission will use funds to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2023-2027, which reflect the purposes and priorities of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). Specific goals include: 1) Enhance the Technological Environment of Mississippi Libraries - through technology support and services, partnerships, and E-Rate guidance and support; 2) Support and Enhance the Library Workforce - through continuing education and consulting; 3) Strengthen Libraries by Sharing Resources - through reading programs and shared resources; 4) Serve All Mississippians - through Talking Book services; and 5) Empower Libraries - through competitive grants, non-competitive grants, and cooperative agreements.
