State Library of Florida

Florida’s Division of Library and Information Services will use funds to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2023-2027, which reflect the purposes and priorities of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). In Florida, specific goals include: 1) Champion Lifelong Learning - supporting the training and professional development of the library workforce and advancing shared knowledge and learning opportunities for all; 2) Advance Collections Access - supporting digitized collections and repositories, shared catalogs, interlibrary loan service, and a virtual reference desk; and 3) Strengthen Communities - supporting libraries’ capacity to meet the health, employment, social and/or civic needs of their community.
