The State Library and Archives of Florida will use funds under the CARES Act to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus; to expand digital network access, purchase internet accessible devices, and provide technical support services. They will continue to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2018-2022, which reflect the purposes and priorities of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). Specific goals include the following: 1) Services: Floridians use information and innovative and responsive services from all types of libraries and archives that meet diverse information needs and 2) Strengthen Libraries: Floridians use libraries with staff, resources, and facilities that transform to meet user needs.
