The Library of Michigan will use funds to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2018-2022, which reflect the purposes and priorities of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). In Michigan, specific goals address 1) providing Michigan residents with equal access to information resources in various formats for lifelong learning; 2) offering Michigan residents access to current services and training support through their libraries; 3) offering support to communities through collective impact initiatives and community engagement; and 4) providing residents with Michigan’s historical and cultural collections for lifelong learning.
