Wyck Historic House, Garden, and Farm

Wyck Historic House, Garden and Farm, a National Historic Landmark in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, will build upon a previous IMLS project by enhancing and expanding its community engagement programs. In preparation for a series of milestones, including the organization’s 50th anniversary and the United States Semiquincentennial, the Wyck will partner with its community to promote inclusive engagement across diverse audiences. Project activities include planning, marketing, and enhancing existing programs such as Home Farm Club, skill-building workshops, and community festivals, as well as implementing new family-friendly programs. The project will support Wyck staff, the purchase of programmatic supplies, and honorariums for workshop instructors. Expanded and new programming will provide residents of Germantown with practical skills, access to greenspace, and opportunities to connect and bond with neighbors.
