Greenville Museum of Art

The Greenville Museum of Art will update its permanent collections storage area based on recommendations in its recent Conservation Assessment for Preservation (CAP) report. Project activities include temporarily relocating artwork, the purchase and installation of high-density storage systems, rehousing the collection, and enhancing catalog records. The museum will partner with East Carolina University to provide two paid summer internships to support project activities and develop interpretive and educational materials. The project will result in improved long-term storage and increased capacity for responsible growth of the collection, benefiting staff, university students and faculty, and the public.
