Delaware Agricultural Museum and Village

The Delaware Agricultural Museum will create a series of outdoor exhibits that explore the use of renewable energy in agriculture and rural life. The museum will create interactive exhibitions that incorporate water, wind, solar, and organic matter to demonstrate that renewable energy is part of the future of farming, as well as its past. Companion educational materials and online content will be developed to increase the learning potential of the project. Museum staff will contract with a curator, exhibit designer, and web designer to assist with the project. The results will be new exhibits that support the development of economic, environmental, health, social, and historical literacies and foster a new understanding of agriculture and energy for visitors of all ages.
