New Mexico State University (New Mexico State University Museum)

The University Museum at New Mexico State University will inventory the ethnographic and historical collections housed in Kent Hall to increase access to the collections and allow for use in teaching, research, exhibition, collaborative outreach, and training opportunities. Project activities include hiring a graduate assistant to systematically record locations, object information, and associated documentation into a collections management system. Outcomes of this project are the training of future museum professionals and allowing closer connections between collections and the student, faculty, staff, and local community museum audiences.
